Talkin' With The Team #2 - Quentin Bloomfield

How old are you and who are you sponsored by?
 I’m 16 and I’m sponsored by Sk8 Skates
How long have you been on Sk8 Skates?
 Two months
How did you get on the Sk8 Skates team?
I got offered to ride for another shop in Winnipeg and I turned them down because I wanted to ride for Sk8. Colin Lambert heard about this and hooked me up with a package, but I didn’t get on until later. I got on after a comp at the plaza. I got third and I was kind of bummed because I slammed a bunch, but I was hyped for my buddy Jaret because he got on the Sk8 team at the comp. After the comp we went street skating and I tried front feeble on woods but I got tired, and I was sore from the contest. I was about to leave and Colin surprised me with a big bag of Sk8 Skates gear, I was hyped.
What made you want to ride for Sk8 Skates?
I wanted to ride for Sk8 because they seemed more like a team than any of the other shop teams. They all skate together all the time.
What’s the gnarliest trick to go down in Winnipeg?
Probably Stephen Betts switch frontside flip over the woods rail.
Who would you want to put on the team next?
Fane and Devon. They’re sick and they rep Sk8.
 Favorite Winnipeg skateboarder?
 Brock Gruhn
 Best Sk8 Skates memory?
 Gambling with Geurts.
